SPECIAL NOTICE: August Go Pass
The August GO Pass launches on August 4, 2026 at 10am. To avoid issues with Deluxe and/or +10 ranks not applying, we recommend purchasing the August Go Pass Deluxe on the Pokemon GO Web Store after the pass goes live at 10am on August 4th. This notice also applies to the Summer Marathon GO Pass which goes live at the same time as the August GO Pass.

Welcome to our official website! Tuscaloosa Pokémon Go is the premier Pokémon group in West Alabama for raids, trades, shiny hunting, and much more! We are also part of Pokémon Go's Community Ambassador Program!

Upcoming Meetups
Monday August 31 thru September 4, 6pm to 7pm for Mega Ascension Raids
Meetup at the Woods Quad at 6pm Monday thru Thursday, and at Government Plaza on Friday at 6pm for a whole hour of raiding fun! Raids spawning during Raid Hour will feature different Mega Pokemon each day! If you're lucky, you may even encounter a Shiny one! The Raid Schedule is as shown below:
- Monday: Mega Dragonite, Mega Victreebel, Mega Malamar
- Tuesday: Mega Falinks
- Wednesday: Mega Skarmory
- Thursday: Mega Starmie
- Friday: Mega Raichu X/Y
Sunday August 22, 9:45am to 6pm for GO Fest: Mega Finale Day 2*
Meetup at the Quad at 9:30am on Sunday for Pokémon GO Fest: Mega Finale! We will have a raffle for everyone who checks in right after our group photo is taken around 9:50-9:55am each day, so be sure to come early and check in on Campfire to join the raffle drawing! Enjoy Super Mega Raids, containing Mega Mewtwo X on Saturday, and Mega Mewtwo Y on Sunday! Habitats (and available raid bosses other than Mega Mewtwo X/Y) will rotate every hour! Armored Mewtwo will return for the first time in six years during Pokemon GO Fest: Mega Finale and will be available during event hours on both Saturday and Sunday! There will also be giveaways, competitions for prizes, & more, on top of the usual Campfire check-in rewards!*Note: There is no Day 1 Saturday meetup in Tuscaloosa due to the Alabama vs East Carolina home football game. We will join the Birmingham XFactions community in Birmingham for Day 1.
Niantic Campfire is where our meetups are managed and digital check-in rewards are distributed. Campfire also has maps showing Gyms, raids, routes, Power Spots, and more!
